Smile Foundation Kenya made tremendous efforts in engaging more than 50 boys living in the streets. We visited the street boys in Kware, Nairobi, Kenya on a weekly basis. The purpose of the visit was to establish contact with the group, offer counselling, mentorship, conflict resolution, capacity building, economic empowerment through establishing micro business managed by people living in the streets such as; car wash, tree nursery, Motorcycle carries/ taxi, pig rearing and a Kitchen garden in which they produced vegetables for sale to the community, residence and business owners.
