The year was a great success for Smile Foundation Kenya. We managed to host more than 10 events with the homeless; 2 birthdays with the homeless, 5 holidays with the homeless, cycling event with the homeless, Easter with the homeless, Soccer tournament with the homeless among others. The activities were supported by friends who gave sacrificially both finances and in-kind. We reached out to a number of people between 500 to 1000 living in the streets, boys and girls, men, women and children. This program gave hope to the people living in the street since they interacted with members of the community who came in as volunteers. Members of the community had a chance to understand people living in the streets and meet immediate needs.
